Last night I tried a new jewelry making technique-bottle cap pendants. First, I took a few bottle caps and flattened them with a rubber mallet. This formed a really cool border. I then used a hammer and nail to make a small hole in the frame so I can later attach it to a necklace chain. I cut out 1 inch circles of 1950's calender girl pics and glued them to the inside of the bottle caps. I waited for that to dry then coated the picture with a thick layer of Diamond Glaze. I let it sit over night. They were so much fun to make! I'm now totally addicted and plan to make more tonight.
This is my first batch. I need to do some fine tuning with the process to make them perfect and wait for the ball chain necklaces to come in that I ordered to hang the pendants from. Then they'll be in my shop!

Ohh I like!!!
Girl, those are really cool! I like the hammered out look of the caps. You could put any picture in there in the middle. You could even custom it for people. Neat!
Thanks, Ladies! I'm glad you like them!
These are Sooooooo cool! I'd like to see them used as magnets.
Great Idea B!!!!
